St. Vincent descreveu Dave Grohl como o "cara mais legal do rock".
Em entrevista à People publicada na sexta-feira, a musicista revelou como o vocalista do Foo Fighters passou a participar de seu novo álbum All Born Screaming, lançado na sexta-feira.
“Conheço Dave desde que ajudei a introduzir o Nirvana no Rock and Roll Hall of Fame em 2014”, disse St. Vincent à publicação. “Ele é tudo o que dizem que ele é e muito mais. Ele é o cara mais legal do rock, o cara mais legal do rock.”
Dave, o ex-baterista do Nirvana, apareceu como artista convidado na música Flea de St. Vincent, que aparece em seu novo álbum.
“Mandei para ele a música Flea e pensei, ‘Você é o único baterista no mundo que posso ouvir nisso'”, explicou ela. "E então ele vai até meu estúdio fumando Parliaments e tomando café. Estamos trocando histórias de guerra e rindo. Então ele diz:" Tudo bem, estou pronto. "Ele entra e toca a música perfeitamente."
O novo álbum de 10 faixas marca a primeira vez em sua carreira que St. Vincent produz um álbum inteiramente sozinha.
“Este disco é 100% uma experiência vivida, então senti cada letra dele”, ela compartilhou. "(A música é) apenas a maneira como processo tudo na minha vida, e sempre foi."
All Born Screaming é o sétimo álbum de estúdio da cantora, depois de seu álbum Daddy's Home de 2021, que ganhou um Grammy de Melhor Álbum de Música Alternativa.

St. Vincent has described Dave Grohl as the "nicest guy in rock".
In an interview with People published on Friday, the musician revealed how the Foo Fighters frontman came to be featured on her new album All Born Screaming, which was released on Friday.
"Dave I've known since I helped induct Nirvana into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014," St. Vincent told the publication. "He's just everything they say he is and more. He's the coolest guy in rock, the nicest guy in rock."
Dave, the former Nirvana drummer, appeared as a guest artist on St. Vincent's song Flea, which appears on her new album.
"I sent him the song Flea and I was like, 'You're the only drummer in the world I can hear on this,'" she explained. "And so he rolls over to my studio smoking Parliaments and drinking coffee. We're trading war stories and having a laugh. Then he goes, "Alright, I'm ready." He goes in and he plays the song perfectly."
The new 10-track album marks the first time in her career that St. Vincent has produced an album entirely herself.
"This record is 100% lived experience, so I've felt every lyric on it," she shared. "(Music is) just the way I process everything in my life, and always has been."
All Born Screaming is the singer's seventh studio album, following her 2021 album Daddy's Home, which won a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album.
